Our first meeting of 2017 happen nice and early in the year on the 3rd of January. Despite many of the toasmasters still being on holidays, we had a great turnout and as always many guests.
The evening kicked in with two prepared speaches with Caroline de Stexhe delivering an insightfull speach on Mindful Learning from the Speaking to Inform manual and Celia Roland presenting an educational speach on what she expects from the Toastmaster members and how it would help us in our working life outside of Toasmasters setting.
Fanna Kong and Cindy Piccolo were congratulated on reaching their educational landmarks, completing Competent Communication (CC) and Advanced Communication Silver (ACS) Manuals, respectively.
Lastly it was announced by Ralf Duempelmann that Fabian Kaeser kindly accepted the role of the VP PR. This would be the last post from me (Nadia) and I am looking forwar to some sparkling posts from Fabian in the future 🙂
