It was a sunny Sunday on June 14 when I was standing at the Expat Expo thinking: “Oh my, will anyone actually show up here at the Expat Expo?” The first two hours were quite slow, but we certainly enjoyed our own company and meeting other vendors, and when Celia offered her delicious homemade sandwiches and rhubarb cupcakes, we no longer held back.
Around 1pm visitors started to pour in, which was very nice, and by the end of the afternoon we had a nice list of ‘signer uppers’.
And it was a pleasure to greet some of these visitors last night at the club meeting at Lohnhof!
Being at the Expat Expo was fun, and I would like to give big thanks to all who were able to be there with me: Caroline, Celia, Cindy, Dolors, Glen, Makiko, Stefan, Vincent and – Luana, who generously helped with preparing the event and spent the whole day there.
